Although Anne likes the resulting images, she is not at all interested in the process of taking water drop photographs. I do enjoy taking them, however, and purchased an electronic kit to help with the release of the drops and the timing of the exposure. Whereas macro and micro photography can reproduce detail too small to be seen by the naked eye, water drop photography can freeze images that are normally too fleeting to be seen. The other reason that I am attracted to this type of photography is the challenge it offers.
